When embarking on your academic journey, it is useful to first gain insight into what you can expect to experience while you learn. A great way to do this is to attend one of our Open Days.
As the College has developed, we have had a growing number of graduates. All students completing our validated programmes are invited to join our alumni network. The alumni network holds an annual meeting and conference, which supports CPD hours and informs on College progress.
Our vision is to grow a thriving, engaged alumni community that provides support to each other as graduates.
IT and Communication
Wi-Fi access is available at both campuses. Our student virtual learning platform provides students with access to source lecture notes, additional material, discussions and messages.
Where students have specific learning needs, we are able to offer assistance in the form of study support and adapted resources. During the application process you will be asked to identify your learning needs and, once accessed, we will be able to put in place the support you need. There is an induction loop system at both Pilgrim Hall and Waverley Abbey House.
Libraries, Books and Resources
There are libraries at both campuses, as well as online resources, which are offered to support our students. Students on validated programmes can also utilise several university libraries of their choice to access books.
Meals and Restaurants
The catering services at both campuses are of the highest quality. Our in-house catering teams can support various dietary needs.
As a student you become part of the Waverley Abbey College family and if you have specific needs that we can support you with, we will do so willingly. This may be in terms of prayer for a specific situation of something more tangible in relation to your study.
All of our longer programmes offer a residential element and while it is not compulsory, students value the opportunity of studying and living together for the duration of the programme. Many of our students also find short stays are helpful for them to focus on their studies.
Most of the bedrooms at Pilgrim Hall are single with shared bathrooms or shared en-suite rooms and family rooms. The accommodation at Waverley Abbey House is mostly shared en-suite rooms.
As part of our shared responsibility for the quality of our programmes, each cohort nominate a student to represent them on our programme board. This is an important part of the management of the College and we welcome constructive feedback so that we can continually enhance the programmes we offer.
Worship is an integral part of Waverley Abbey College life. We hold regular prayer meetings and worship sessions at both campuses.
