FREE WEBINAR: Transforming communities. Impacting lives.

28 July @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Discover how community chaplaincy is bringing hope, building relationships and creating lasting Kingdom impact.

Join us for an engaging and inspiring conversation with two experienced community chaplains, as we explore how God is at work transforming communities and impacting lives across the UK.

Community chaplaincy offers a powerful expression of Christian presence. By showing up, listening well, building relationships and walking alongside people in everyday life, chaplains are creating opportunities for transformation where it is needed most.

Whether you’re involved in church leadership, ministry, chaplaincy, community outreach or simply passionate about seeing your community flourish, this webinar will encourage and inspire you to think differently about mission, discipleship and Kingdom impact.

What you'll discover:

  • What community chaplaincy looks like in practice
  • How relational ministry is creating meaningful impact in local communities
  • Why presence is often the starting point for transformation
  • The opportunities and challenges of serving beyond the walls of the church
  • How churches and individuals can engage more deeply with their communities
  • Stories of hope, connection and lives being changed

Meet the speakers

Susanna Hoar

Susanna works at the heart of community engagement in Guildford, supporting volunteer chaplains and helping create safe, welcoming spaces where people can find support, connection and belonging. Through her work with both Guildford Town Centre Chaplaincy and Community Angels, she has seen first-hand the impact that a ministry of presence can have on individuals and communities.

Steve Whitington

Steve co-founded All Saints Community Chaplaincy in Eastbourne, helping develop a fresh model of relational chaplaincy rooted in presence, accompaniment and community engagement. Passionate about seeing faith lived out beyond church walls, Steve brings practical insight into how chaplaincy can build trust, strengthen communities and create new opportunities for mission. He also tutors with Waverley Abbey College, equipping Christians to lead with wisdom, compassion and Kingdom purpose.

Why attend?

Most people don’t set out to become chaplains

It usually begins with an unexpected but surprisingly meaningful encounter in your local neighbourhood, with someone who is interested in faith but not connected to a church.

This webinar is an opportunity to hear real stories, learn from experienced practitioners, and discover how God is using community chaplaincy to transform communities and impact lives.
