As Waverley Abbey College is a private college, we do not receive any direct government funding and rely on the generosity of our Partners, alumni and donors. This means that our students do need to personally pay their fees. As a result, we try to ensure our fees are affordable and in line with other colleagues and universities.
Here are some suggestions as to how you can have help financing your programme.
Student Loans Company
Due to our successful QAA review, the BA (Hons) Counselling programme has gained designated status (subject to successful annual monitoring) and, if you have not previously received a student loan, you may be eligible to apply for a loan through the Student Loans Company.
Professional Career and Development Loan
Waverley Abbey College is registered with the Skills Funding Agency and so students who are not eligible for a loan through the Student Loans Company, may be eligible to apply for a Professional Career and Development Loan for the BA and MA programmes. Please note our registration number is REG01-21276.
Selwyn Hughes Trust Fund
To support our students further, we offer a number of bursaries. Through the generosity of the Selwyn Hughes Trust Fund, we are able to offer scholarships. These are awarded on merit and proof of hardship.
