Taste the welcome as you experience the Café @ Waverley Abbey. We serve speciality coffee, delicious cakes and hearty lunches.

Evening Meals

The Table@Waverley serves a 2-course dinner during your onsite lectures at Waverley Abbey. Created by our chefs, your meals are bookable in advance on a termly or annual basis.

You can also choose the dinner, bed and breakfast package, which offer further savings on cost.

Bringing your own food

Unfortunately we don’t have storage or microwave facilities for general use. Should you choose to bring your own cold pre-prepared meal, you can consume this either in your main lecture room or in the student common room on the first floor.

Only food purchased in the Café and The Table@Waverley may be consumed in these areas.

Special diets:  For residential students, if medical reasons prevent you from being able to eat any of the food offered at Waverley, please apply here to bring your own food and have special use of the dedicated fridge and microwave facilities in the student common room at mealtimes. NB these food preparation facilities are not for use by any other students and are kept locked.

We have a mix of two-four bedded rooms. Bedrooms are offered on a shared, ensuite basis, with a continental style breakfast included. Single accommodation may be available once we have prioritised applications for shared bedrooms.

Bedrooms are located on the second/third floors, reached by stairs (as a grade II* listed building, unfortunately we do not have a lift).

Bedrooms are accessible from 4pm on your day of arrival and need to be vacated by 9am on the final day of your stay.

Student accommodation and dining fees for 2024-25

Please note that these fees are special discounted rates for students.

How to book bedroom accommodation

For new students, before booking you must first have been offered and have accepted a place on a programme of study, as well as have paid your course deposit.

Your accommodation booking is for ALL residential nights of your course (full academic year if you are on a multi-session programme).

You may choose to book a room for yourself only (on a shared or single basis) or you may group together with other students to book a shared room with a lead booker.

Once we have received your booking form, we will send you an email to confirm whether we are able to provide accommodation for you, together with payment information.
